Christopher Sloce is a library technician, writer, and zinemaker from Wise County, Virginia. After graduating from high school, he moved to Richmond, Virginia to pursue a degree in English. He began making zines in 2016. In 2019, he established Kentucky Meat Shower, the flagship zine of Muleskinner Press, as a Substack newsletter. Once a newsletter no longer fit the scope of the project, it became an ezine. Due to political disagreements, it is now hosted at Kittysneezes.com

Wren Johnson is a studying historian at the Virginia Commonwealth University from Herndon, Virginia. They spent their childhood splitting time between Trenton, North Carolina and Herndon. They met Christopher Sloce in 2022 and began assisting with graphic design and layouts during 2023.
